Hope you all're happy..πWelcome to my blog.Today I will tell you about a beautiful and most visited temple in Uttarakhand.which is:--
Mansa devi temple in Haridwar.
Mansa devi temple a Hindu Temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi in the holy city of Haridwar in the Uttarakhand state of India. The temple is located atop of the Bilwa Parvat on the Sivalik Hills, the southernmost mountain chain of the Himalayas. The temple also known as Bilwa Tirth is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) within Haridwar.
It has two impressive statues of Goddess Mansa Devi – one with three mouths and five arms and the other with eight arms. Goddess Mansa is believed to be a form of Goddess Shakti, who came from the mind of sage Kashyap. This temple is among the 51 shaktipeethas (devotional shrines where the severed body parts of Goddess Sati fell) in the country. There are two other shaktipeethas in Haridwar: Chandi Devi and Maya Devi temples.

How to Get to There
Haridwar can be reached in about six hours by road from Delhi, or four hours by train. Here are the best options.
There are two ways to get to Mansa Devi temple from Haridwar town: on foot or by aerial tramway (also referred to as a rope-way, or Udan Khatola locally). Walking requires a strenuous hike uphill. The track is sealed but the exertion can be draining in the heat. Hence, most people prefer to take the aerial tramway up and then walk back down. It starts running at 5 a.m. during peak season. The boarding point is centrally located off Upper Road in town near Hari ki Pauri, and the one-way journey takes about five minutes.
